How it all started

During my 40s I slowly began to lose my mojo, gain stubborn weight around the middle and  my memory went AWOL too. Then the brain fog really kicked in and I found myself feeling anxious and unhappy.

It was time to take action – when eventually I found the energy! Something had to give and it wasn’t going to be my sanity.

I was drawn to learn hypnotherapy  and I gained my Hypnotherapy Diploma training from  the renowned Clifton Practice where I realised the the true power of the Solution Focused Approach

Hypnotherapy changed my life because it helped me to change my thinking so that I bcame happier and regained my confidence. I set off on a new path and became a hypnotherpist in private practice.

What happened next?

Weight had always been an issue for me. I’m sure those ‘’put on weight easily genes’’ are what kept my ancestors going but they are not much use to me in the 21st century!

As a hypnotherapist I help  people with many different  kinds of issues but weight problems and the menopause misery are close to my heart.

I  used hypnotherapy  to help me to gain control of my eating and I have survived and thrived in menopause.

It’s through my knowledge, experience  and learning about the science of weight gain and nutrition that I have regained my mojo, feel and look better than I did a few years back! (Ok yes I have wrinkles!).

I  created my unique method to helping you solve the weight gain in midlife conundrum  which includes an online training programme, together with individual and group sessions.

I have gained tons of knowledge that I share with you so that you can thrive in midlife and and become that healthier, happier and vibrant person that you really are.

I use my knowledge as a health care professional in the NHS for over 30 years to help you understand your body and mind.  I hold the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma which is the Gold Standard qualification for hypnotherapists in UK. I have been helping people in my hypnotherapy practice for 5 years.

Is hypnotherapy safe?

Yes, hypnosis is a safe and natural state that we use to help you access your inner resources and creativity.

It helps you to change unhelpful thinking and behaviour habits.

It is something you choose to engage in, and you always have complete control.

I can’t make you do anything, you will most probably remember much of what I say and it’s a very enjoyable experience.

Many people say it feels a bit like a massage for the mind.

What kind of lifestyle changes will I need to make to succeed in weight management?

Successful weight management often involves adopting healthy lifestyle changes. My programme focuses on promoting sustainable habits such as balanced nutrition, portion control, regular physical activity, stress management, and improved sleep quality.

However as this is very much a client led method, with my help you will be able to identify your own particular road map for change. Through out your time with me you will gain all the elements that you need to lead a healthy lifestyle but still enjoy your food.

I am sure that you will be happy to hear that this isn’t a boot camp so I won’t be forcing you into anything. You are in the driving seat and we move at your pace.
